Australian Society of Fish Biology and Oceania Chondrichthyan Society Joint Conference 2016 (268 PAX), Hobart

As a conference organiser it was great to work with Business Events Tasmania, who were particularly helpful at putting us in contact with many of the providers we needed… It was also very fulfilling calling on local small businesses to provide outstanding service and deliver the finer details of the event. The quality of service and attention to detail were definitely noticed. – Dr Sean Tracey, IMAS

Australian Society for Infectious Diseases Annual Scientific Meeting 2016 (388 PAX), Launceston

It was the first time this meeting was held in Launceston and the delegates loved attending a conference in a city that had a ‘big town’ feel where everything was easily accessible. The meeting was held on the 40th Anniversary of ASID and included special events to recognise the important milestone, including a public lecture on ‘Superbugs’. The public lecture was a great success with over 200 people attending.

Bakers Delight Conference 2015 (1238 PAX), Hobart

Hobart was selected as the destination for the conference because it fit with the positioning of Bakers Delight, who were after an authentic experience that would reflect their brand and inspire the delegates. By tapping into the true essence of Tasmania we were able to provide delegates with a unique and memorable experience. – Ashley Partridge, Directions Conference and Incentive Management (DCIM)

Australian Forest Growers Conference 2016 (198 PAX), Launceston

Business Events Tasmania proactively assisted the conference organisers from the start and were very helpful, especially with the selection of the conference venue. We felt very well-supported and nothing was too much trouble. I recommend BET to anyone as a conference starting point. Over 12 months of planning went into this event and all service providers were very helpful and keen to see that the event was successful.

Knight Frank Australia Pty Ltd Recognition Trip 2016 (70 PAX), Hobart

Organising the Knight Frank High Achievers Recognition Trip for 2016 in Hobart was a privilege. The highlight of the trip, would definitely have to be holding the Awards Night at MONA, in one of the galleries. Out of 70 attendees I can honestly say every single person had an absolute ball, Tasmania truly is a beautiful place to visit.
